Recaps from people who sat the modules, not a highlight reel.

These notes refer to specific Deveventgrid labs. Ratings, where shown, come from our internal recap form or from the team’s own write-up. We keep one clearly mixed review on this page on purpose.

“Custom product pages week stopped us from cloning the same five screenshots across three iOS audiences. We now keep a ‘new user’ page and a ‘returning subscriber’ page, and the reporting template from session six is what we paste into Notion.”

“Play Console Funnel Clinic was shorter than I wanted, but the impression-to-store-listing map finally matched what our Android lead already believed. Would have liked a second homework round.”

Ploy · Chiang Mai · 4/5 recap score

“The Thai & EN localisation workshop made our EN listing less touristy. We still failed an icon test the following month; Nalinee’s recap format at least made that failure readable.”

“Screenshot Narrative Workshop was the first time our brand designer sat through store analytics without glazing over. The limitation call-out in the FAQ is accurate: if your UI is mid-rebrand, the sequence work gets messy.”

Payments wallet · Impression waste on the iOS listing

A Bangkok wallet team joined the App Store Conversion Lab with a product page conversion rate that looked “fine” until we split branded versus category search. Category traffic was bouncing on frame two of the screenshot sequence — a feature the app had sunsetted.

They replaced that frame with a KYC-time claim and ran a custom product page for category keywords only. Over seven weeks, category product-page conversion moved from 18.7% to 22.1%. Branded search barely moved, which was the honest outcome, not a failure of the test.

Edtech · Play listing that copied iOS too closely

An education app used the same screenshot order on Play as on iOS. The Play Console Funnel Clinic showed that store-listing visitors on Android spent longer on the short preview video than on static frames. They cut the iOS-style carousel to four frames and moved the video above the fold in the listing description area they could control.

Store listing conversion on Play rose 1.3 points over a month that included a school holiday in Thailand. They noted the seasonal caveat in their recap — the kind of restraint we grade for in the lab. The iOS listing was left alone until a later Conversion Lab seat.
